SCHOOL INFORMATION
As a precaution, public school officials may decide to close their schools and move students to a Public School Relocation Center before any public action is required. Students will be moved by bus to a Public School Relocation Center under constant adult supervision. Listen to a local radio or television station for details on school relocations and where to pick up your children.
Parents should not pick up children at schools unless they are directed to do so. This could cause traffic and safety problems for children who are being moved and delay the process. Also, children may have already been moved to a Public School Relocation Center before parents arrive.
IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE IN DAYCARE, ATTEND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, OR ARE IN BEFORE/ AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS
Please check with your children’s care provider regarding their emergency plans. Parents should ensure they know the process for reuniting with their children during an emergency.
